A V-Series Plasma was recently installed in one of the Upper Grand District School Board locations. Previous to the machine installment, the school had plasma torches available for the students to learn with and use. The V-Series was installed so that the students are able to learn about and practice operating an automated plasma. This allows the students to learn about the various benefits of automated cutting, such as better edge quality and faster cutting. This also gives the students an idea as to whats available in the industry. The Plasma is used by Upper Grand for cutting various materials such as Aluminum and Steel.
